We have been blessed to meet and become friends with the Stanley family. We met through mutual dear friends because we were both adopting from China. Their log in date with China is a week or so before ours, so we have been on this journey together from the beginning. They have been a source of support and comfort because they know all too well what the adoption journey is like and what it is like to WAIT.
The Stanleys began a concurrent adoption with Ethiopia several months ago and TODAY they met their little blessing, Lola Joy. ReplyDeleteI just read your previous post! Wow, isn't it amazing how a well known verse such as Prov 3:5-6 can have such specific purpose in our lives? We always think we trust the Lord, but now He has given us this adoption to see if we really, truly trust Him. I am not feeling that it is clear either way whether to travel with our daughter right now. I do need God to make it clear, and I hope it will be for you too! Thanks for posting on my blog!
